Kelly's Preschool Daily Routine

 

This programme is flexible to fit in with the needs of all our children.  Kelly's Preschool offers free choice throughout the day, with a variety of learning experiences inside and outside based on your child’s interests and abilities.

 

7.00am               Kelly's Preschool opens

7.00am-8:50am Settling children (meet and greet)

​

8.50am-9.00am Tidy up then head outside

​

9.00am-9.30am Free play (outside)

​

9.30am-10.00am Wa whanau (Mat time, music and movement session)

​

10.00am-10.30am Morning tea (toilet reminders/nappies)

​

11.00am-11.30am Rainbow happy (Transition to school programme)

​

10.30am-12.00pm Free play outside

​

12.00am-12.10pm Wa whanau ( Mat time, getting ready for lunch)

​

12.10pm-12.30pm Lunch time

​

12.30pm-1.00pm Wa whanau ( Mat time, music and movement/games session)

​

1.00pm-1.50pm Inside quiet time

​

1.50pm-2.00pm  Tidy up time

​

2.00pm-2.30pm Outside play (toilet reminders/nappies)

​

2.30pm-2.45pm Wa whanau ( Mat time, yoga/relaxation)

​

2.45pm-3.00pm Afternoon tea

​

3.00pm-4.00pm Outside play (pack away)

​

4.00pm-5.00pm Inside play (quiet time) getting ready for home

5.30pm           Kelly’s Preschool closes
